Seit über zehn Jahren verwandelt das Ottakringer Vinyl & Music Festival jedes Jahr im März die Ottakringer Brauerei in Wien in einen internationalen Treffpunkt für Musikliebhaber:innen, Sammler:innen, Instrumentenbauer:innen, Independent-Labels und Festivalbesucher:innen.

Mit 3.000–4.000 Besucher:innen – rund 30 % international – ist das Festival ein zentraler Hotspot für analoge Musik, Szene-Kultur, Live-Acts und hochwertige Handwerkskunst.

Wiener Instrumente Salon – Handgemacht, handgespielt, handverlesen.

Handgefertigte Instrumente, nationale und internationale Instrumentenbauer:innen verbinden traditionelles Handwerk mit zeitgenössischer Klangkunst. Eine einzigartige Verkaufsausstellung innerhalb des Festivals, die Instrumentenbau als lebendige Kulturform erlebbar macht.

Zusammen mit „Junge Fotografie“ (Berufsschule der Fotografen) inszenieren wir musikalische Themen fotografisch – von „ottakringisierten“ Plattencovern über Instrumentenbauer:innen bis zu Porträts von Musiker:innen abseits der Bühne. Blitzlichtgewitter over Ottakring sozusagen.

Am Vinyl & Music Festival trifft zeitloser Retro-Chic auf modernste Technologien! In den vergangenen Jahren begeisterten bereits der weltweit einzige mobile Schallplattenschneideautomat Vinylograph, klassische Jukeboxen und Flipper, das charmante „Konzert der Plattnspieler“ oder die faszinierende Vinylkugel.

Ottakringer Vinyl & Music Festival – Yes, we sound!

Austria’s largest record fair and the leading festival for analogue music culture in the German-speaking region.

For over ten years, the Ottakringer Vinyl & Music Festival has transformed the Ottakringer Brauerei in Vienna for a weekend in March into an international meeting point for music lovers, collectors, instrument makers, independent labels, and festival-goers.
